The title for this poster is 5G without cooperation. As you can see in the poster, China and USA are in 5G competition. Without cooperation on 5G, both China and USA companies are living under dark clouds. Look at the emoji as you can see none of them are having a real happy time.

Analysis:

  5G noncooperation between China and USA will trigger many problems as I have mentioned in EADA. Among them, both two countries are having a hard time for company running. As 5G is the future and core support for many companies like Hua Wei and Ericsson, I think it necessary to convey the current situation to the public and governments even though they might have already known. The public are at the same position as me: we are citizens who takes the advantages of products made by these companies. Since they are not academic readers, I use pictures and emojis to drive their attention. The government control the companies by making policies. I am “writing” to inform the noncooperating situation and propose an idea of cooperation between China and USA.

  From my perspective, I strongly recommend China and USA cooperate. In every era, telecom companies will rely on some core industry and for now, it is 5G. The “quarrel” between China and USA forms several dark clouds as “LESS TRADE”, “LESS INFORMATION”, “LONGER TIME” and so on. These dark clouds prevent telecom companies from receiving the sunlight of 5G. In this multi-modal text, I did not prefer to any side but hold the point of cooperation. I used some abstraction and exaggeration to even “smear” a little to the behavior of two countries. I need to clarify that I am not on purpose but to intensify the poor figure of companies.

  Another reason why I have chosen the companies to be the main elements is that I want to make my poster to be heuristic. The situation of companies is just an “appearance” of 5G noncooperation. The deeper purpose of this poster is to rose the attention of the public. Though they are not academic reader, I hope they can engage with 5G. I am sure it will accelerate the process of cooperation between China and USA on 5G.
